Even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. ☯

One of my best friends is my soulmate. While in some ways we're complete opposites, we're similar in so many ways. We complete each other, and we're each other's half. When we started college, it was probably one of the hardest experiences; mainly because we were separated from each other, I staying in Jersey and Joanna going to school in Boston--a good four hours away.

It was a nice beginning of spring break to spend the day with her on Friday, when we were both home. We caught up on life for a few hours in Starbucks, and we went to get ice cream for her since she got her wisdom teeth pulled only a day ago (green tea ice cream is one of our favorites!) We also did one of our old-time favorites, where we'll drive around town with the windows down and blasting and singing to Korean pop music (to only have people stare at us).

Unfortunately, this was one of our last adventures for a while. As a pharmacy major, Joanna's required to stay up in Boston for pretty much the rest of her college career. She's beginning co-op, which is sort of like student teaching.... one semester is dedicated to either co-op or classes. Her school requires that every summer, she either takes classes or co-ops.

When I first heard the news, it didn't really hit me until now, when it was her last time home for a while. I'm not going to lie, I miss her already, and unfortunately the most we'll probably see each other now is Skype. I'm looking on the bright side though, since I have the possibility to visit Joanna this summer for a weekend. While it was a great start to break, I know these next couple of weeks will be rough for me; it's times like these I really wish my soulmate and I were closer to each other and that she was here to cheer me up.

    1. Thanks! :D And we're trying to plan it out! I just wish Boston wasn't so far and I could be able to go there by myself without having to go because I'm on "vacation with my parents", haha.
